Company Profile

The Tasco Group was created in 1986 to fulfill a need for professional Engineering and Technical Assistance to the world of applications engineering. Initially the Fire Protection Industry had been suffering in the area of integrity and overall technical ability with both the companies and technicians representing it. We formed a group of highly trained and experienced professionals to assist end users, specifying firms, General Contractors and Electrical Contractors in need of discerning the miriage of specialty contractor rederic and code compliance.

Firetech was born of the need to supply multiple technicians at times to meet the needs of multiple projects in motion simultainiously. Secondly the needs expanded into the Security field and more specically the Closed Circuit Video Surveilance industry which was experiencing the same problems as Fire Protection. Access Control, CATV, MATV followed the expansion as our reputation and repeated satisfaction from customers was expressed for quality of service with adherance to building codes and ethics.

Background audio, Sound Reinforcement and Professional Sound Recording made way for the addition of Phun City Sound to the group. Phun City had been in business since 1979 and brought a great deal of experience and insight to the group. HVAC Control and building Automation accompanied the expansion as our work with Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Siemens, Trane, York and others yielded a reputation for quality and follow through with a broad understanding of building codes and system applications.
